Learn More about Galena Country Experiences Auction

In November 2023, the Historical Society will hold an online auction offering diverse Galena-Jo Daviess County experiences to attract tourists. We request your participation in this charitable event by donating your business’s product or item(s). These contributions will be combined to create unique Galena Country Experience packages which will be featured in a five-day online auction during the peak gift-buying season from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

A few details:

*paper or e-certificate(s) will be provided by the donor with an expiration date of December 31, 2024.

*Lodgings: 2 night minimum, Friday/Saturday nights preferable; 3-day holiday blackouts acceptable.

*Dining and Retail: $100 minimum donation; may be two at $50 each.

*Attractions/Others: create your own offering valued at a minimum of $100.

*You may prefer to create your own bundle of three or more elements using your own or partnering with other  businesses; talk with us about how to submit that package to our online donor site.
