Galena pottery is a staple of the early arts here in Galena. This well-loved pot sits in our collection. It is made of Galena orange clay and remains unglazed; the bottom has a drainage hole so that the pot can hold and sustain some beautiful flowers. The sides are folded over like a pie edge. This piece of art is a great example of the sustainability and beauty of Galena pottery!
